The 1969 version of "To Tell the Truth" was among the best known of all versions of this durable format. Many game show fans fondly remember this version for the colorful, "groovy" set (used from 1969-1973, after which a conservative, blue-accented set was used) and its soft rock-flavored lyrical theme. The format, however, remained the same as always: A team of three contestants, one the actual person associated with a story and two imposters, tried to fool the four-member celebrity panel. An affidavit relating a person's story is read sometimes funny; sometimes serious; sometimes inspirational; sometimes having to do with their profession, political activity or cause they were actively involved in; but always interesting. The celebrity panelists, one at a time, question the three contestants (addressing them by No. 1, No. 2. and No. 3) in an attempt to expose the liars and determine who was telling the truth. A modern reimagination of the classic game show. In each round, a celebrity panel will be presented with three people who all claim to be the same person with the same incredible talent, job or achievement. One is sworn to tell the truth while the others are not.

The program exists since 1963, in which four well-known panel members participated. In this season as well, celebrities have to ask smart questions to the people in front of them, so that they can guess what profession that person has. Each panel member has only one minute to ask all their questions, which is not always easy. The celebrities cannot prepare for the quiz, but they are so curious that they learn a lot about the candidates. If a celebrity knows an answer, he or she can show the sign with the number of a participant, 1, 2 or 3. Then the real candidate must stand up, so that the panel of 'Who of the Three' knows if they have picked the right candidate.

The film tells of old Antonio, 81, who refuses to stay in a mental home and walks away. He hits the streets to give a message to people: be yourselves, tell what you think, make love and stop with violence against the weaker members of society. When he realizes nobody will listen, he tries to take his life by holding his breath, but he doesn't succeed.

The February Revolution did not bring the desired peace to the trenches. Russian and Ukrainian soldiers, deceived by Kerensky's government, are dying on the slopes of the Carpathians. But the words of Bolshevik truth penetrate the trenches, and the soldiers refuse to go to the slaughter. Among the front-line soldiers returning home is a young Ukrainian named Taras Holota. He dreams of joyful reunions, but instead attends the funeral of his mother, who was killed by the Haidamaks. The landless peasantry is starving, and Golota rallies his fellow villagers to divide up the landowners' fields...
